Artist Spotlight • Nancy Fischer

NFischer-12.jpg

“Over a lifetime of making art, my inspiration is constantly changing. Sometimes it can be the nostalgic feelings for the old barns and houses and the landscape that is rapidly disappearing from our lives . Sometimes it is the joy of seeing the beauty in the the mundane sights we take for granted. Often it is an emotion I am feeling and I find a scene or object that helps convey that to me.

An artist does make time stop for the viewer. We try to capture a minute in time. Chaos or confusion may break out one minute later, but for that instant we have stopped time.” — Nancy Fischer
